Over thirty people showed up to hear about The Last Pachuco.
We all had fun.
At a Pasadena public library, this
graduating class was surprised to learn that I had once been a kid like them.
They are our future teachers, firemen, and writers.
Ray also spoke to a group of adults at the library.
At Alhambra High School, students surprised
me with their knowledge of the pachuco era. Often I need to demonstrate the walk, the talk, and other phrases.
Presentations are well-received by all. More
than half of my audiences have been women.
